接近度：接近度是变革推动者 – 管理者对他的团队的感受。变更代理将成功地选择合适的团队，以便在他们靠近时管理不同的变更。接近度也会增加其他上述特征，如移情，血友病和联系。
Proximity: The proximity is the physical and psychological closeness that the change agent-the manager feels with his team. The change agent will be successful in selecting the right team to manage different changes when they are in close proximity. Proximity will also increase the other above identified characteristics such as empathy, hemophily and linkage.
Reward: Any positive outcome will be rewarded or motivated by other means. The manager must be able to positively motivate or reward the change management team that he selects.
Energy: The change management team might not necessarily work on change management alone. They will be guiding change management along with their normal work. Here the amount of energy that an employee can expend on change management must be taken into account. A capable manager will be able to assess the energy levels of his employee when recruiting them (Lunenburg, 2010).
Synergy: Energy must synergize. This is the working together factor. When different people work in synergy then it is easier for the team to achieve more (Lawford, 2003). Applying this critically in the context of change management it can be said that the manager must be able to motivate the team to work in synergy. The role of the manager during recruitment would be to check/assess the type of team members that will work in synergy and the members that might have conflicted attitudes. While these conflicted attitudes will need to be resolved in the long term success for an organization, a change management team is neither the time nor the place to resolve these issues.
