As the issue is concerned, it is found to be about 127.3 million in Asia, and the pacific regions are found. Therefore, the mitigation of this risk becomes the vital focus of the ILO (International Labour Organisation) for the purpose of creating a healthy environment for the children.
Problem faced by youth
According to International Labour Organization, more than 730 million children aged 6-18 years are involved in child labour all around the world. I have found that 420 million of children in the Asian-pacific region are engaged in the child labour. It has been studied that around 480 million children are active in child labour in the developed economies (Dimova, Epstein and Gang, 2015). Child trafficking in Thailand depicts an annual trade of 510 billion baht which is around 55 to 60 per cent of the annual budget of the government. In Asia, child labour has increased, and children are facing many difficulties. For example, they have to work in farming and fishing industries, quarries, construction sites, mines, drug trade and brick kilns or work as sex workers. Many strategies were taken by international organizations to combat with child labour such as compulsory education in each country, education for all initiatives and national time-bound programs to eradicate all types of child labour (Office, 2009). International labour organization is working with local organizations of the countries in Asia to combat with the situation.
Tradition of the culture
As the Asia is concerned in my consideration, it is still identifying the wrong mythological and cultural beliefs that the education of the children is not necessary. It is raised due to the poverty level increment in many countries of Asia and these result in damaging the life of the children. This is defined to be an inhuman activity which is still continued in some parts of Asia, like Malala (Bhat, 2011). The ill-educated behaviour can be traced through this kind of the acts, and the activities continued in the human race. This truly indicates the inhuman behaviour of the work. Therefore, the removal of this concept must be made for the betterment of the life of children and the development of the teachings can be easily facilitated among the children across Asia.
