Physics has always been a fascinating area of study for me; whether it encompasses the query of how several aspects of Physics work and why do they work at all. As Physics is able to render evidences together with the answers to such questions, I have found deep interest in studying Physics. Moreover, I literally recall my childhood passion to astronomy as I think back to the origin of my interest on physics. The glittering stars incited my curiosity and altogether brought up the question: what is there deep in space. My father once told me that the greatest motivation for men to study physics is looking at the starlit sky. “It is a profound subject and there are many secrets awaiting answers,” he said, “maybe too abstract for a girl in your age.” I want to study astronomy physics in university because it has been my dream since then. The beautiful thing about Astrophysics is that several questions are created when one question is answered and this makes it a mysterious field of study and for the same reason I find it very interesting.
My interest for Astrophysics was further developed in High school when my interest got widened into not only fields like galaxies and stellar dynamics but also quantum mechanics and cosmology, which render us an opportunity to understand our universe and are more challenging. Through the magazine “All About Space” I try to keep myself up-to-date with astronomy news. My inspiration towards pursuing majors in Astrophysics came from books like “The Cosmic Tourist” and “A Brief History of Time”.
