Who would you need to seek approval from when establishing the proposed compliance management program?
The approval has to be sought from the internal stakeholders like the board of directors who would be providing the initial round of confirmation and details. Secondly, approval would also have to be sought from the management committee of the operations of the process of implementation of the system. In terms of external stakeholders, the approval would be sought from the auditors, and the relevant government agencies in cases which require permission and direct approvals and ratification.
What reports would you required to prepare to review the compliance management system in accordance with established procedures and any statutory or other compliance obligations?
The reports that would be required for the compliance management program would entail establishing cases and the extent of the deviations. These deviations would highlight the initial possible causes for the same. There would be an important need to showcase the manner, in which these causes have been developed in the organization to take proper corrective actions and have adequate response for the same. Such reports have to be periodically filed by the compliance management officer.
How is non-compliance with the Compliance Policy dealt with?
The non-compliance of any of the policy measures would first reported, and then clearly investigated for the purpose of indentifying the factors which contributed to such causes. Further, there is a need to clearly explain the manners, in which these factors have materialised within the organization that can be developed on the basis of the overall analysis of the matter. This would also detail the persons who have been responsible for such lapses, and would entail identification of possible remedies as well.
