The previous policies of the government are concerned with the development of action plans for the future and how can these policies impact positively on resolving the drought issues. The major issue is about the mitigation of the natural hazards. These policies are present in the form of climatic change. The major policy is about the reduction of the green house gas (GHG) emissions. The policy for the mitigation standards will be structured and will discuss about the natural disasters like earth quakes, floods and hurricanes. The latest policy developed by the government is concerned about the recycling of the water that can be reused in the case of emergency. The main policy has been developed the central coast regional water quality control board for the emergency water treatment system. The major reason for the development of this board will be in operating an emergency water treatment system that will be used by the people of the country during the drought seasons. This system will be present near the existing well at the wastewater disposal ponds that will be helping to fulfill the water supplies of the country when the shortage of water is present. Citizens of the country should focus on preserving the environment and work on the reduction of the emission of gases by boycotting the products and services that emit these gases (Wilhite, et al. 2014).
