Other challenges are inclusive of the policy not being on track for meeting the goals and yet the commitment of the provinces has remained along with no defining provided by Alberta in 2013 for main amendments proposed. The delay in the SGER policy steps and phases need to be explained because the process is involved with uncertainties leading towards increasing the delayed process (Financial Post Staff et al, 2013). However, with further improvement in the policy intervention plan of SGER it is required to incorporate the specific guidelines that help in securing Alberta from exceeding the greenhouse gas emissions.
