A multicultural population can be effectively dealt in the process of recruitment, retention and training and promotion. The best practice which can be followed by the management is top leadership commitment to manage diverse workforce. The strategic plan of the organization should take diversity as an integrated part of its strategies and goals should be set with keeping diversity in mind. Diversity in workforce will lead to more productivity and helps in improving organizational performance. A plan with qualitative and quantitative techniques must be set to measure the results of diverse workforce in the organization; the accountability of results from the diverse workforce should be shared by all employees and management of the organization. The recruitment of multicultural workforce will be beneficial for the productivity of the organization as a large pool of talent will be available from which the desired candidates are to be selected. The retention of multicultural workforce can only be done if they are made satisfied with the treatment they get as employees of the company.
