The primary issue faced by the company was the lack of a formal management system which did not offer an environment for continued growth amidst rising competition. Management system must be more alert and be on the cutting edge of the market so that they are aware of the market situation and also judge their future action to make a place for themselves in the market. If the market is moving towards a specific region and adopting new technology which is not seen in Easiyo, it will most probably fall behind the competition and not be the preferred brand in the market.
Then again, the production activity being progressive, was not as fast as desired and lacked the pace with which automation production works. This is important to be adopted for being behind the competition and losing the competitive edge against rivals. Though the company had fundamental success of having loyal workers which is seen as an asset in today’s production field, they lacked the safety and precautionary measures that are the rights of every worker.
Moreover, the CEO was more liberal in his approach and not controlling the importance of his position which is sometimes important for creating some kind of respect which makes the workers work with full cooperation. They were also poor in not recording production data which is essential in comparing it with rivals and the industry average. This gives a feeling of what is to be done further and how the company needs to step forward in the market. The lack of tracking production data comes with the product of loose measures of risk assessment in avoiding food quality contamination and accidently building a low quality product. These requires automation which was every slow in adoption.
