How Prepared was I: The mission of the company was for providing viewers in all placed with a distinct perspective of seeing the world through simple enhanced coverage. This was the overview that I first knew about the company when I first joined. I had no experience of working at such a big company and I was a little speculative about the performance of my roles and duties in the company (Bennington, 2010, pp 54-130). This was because I had to adapt to this different environment of working which I had never seen. In addition, the focus of the organization was on individuals that are energetic with orientation of detailed understanding. This quality was surely possessed by me even though I was unsure of doing justice to this quality from the perspective of this organization. As evident I can say now that I was not much prepared for this job because of lack of confidence and the fear of being ignored. This was something I even read in the book, Effective Immediately, which illustrated some general and common suggestions which can help individuals succeed in their new job environments. The book clearly stated that even though an individual is new to the work place as an intern, they will lack confidence and might even feel insecure. However, I was insecure but always knew the goals and objectives as they were clearly defined to me by the company and other script developers (Bennington, 2010, pp 54-130). This further motivated me to establish the development of script as asked from my bosses in the organization. I would say that in preparing me for the job, a greater role was played by my managers in the organization who had adequate leadership quality to make their interns feel safe and valuable and hence motivated for working in the best of their abilities.
