The reading ‘Never Read History Again? The Possibilities and Perils of Cinema as Historical Depiction’ can be found in the book by Donald F. Stevens named “Based on a True Story: Latin American History at the Movies” (Stevens, 1997) combines history with discussions regarding the dramatic cinema. It examines how letting America has been portrayed by the films from late 15th century till date. It also provides an introduction regarding the visual presentation of history in the movies and the best movies related with Latin America from the perspective of a professional historian have been explored in it.
