In the field of Media, Marshall McLuhan appeared as an expert of the budding digital media culture. McLuhan’s well-known book “Understanding Media” published in 1964 was renowned as offering core perceptions into the value of the digital media in modern life and he became among the most deliberate theorists of that time (McLuhan, M. 2003a). McLuhan offered confrontational books on the significance of the contemporary media and advanced technology in building the ultra-modern world. In this research, McLuhan’s media concept and how it can be applied to make evaluations of modernization were discussed.
