There is huge role of organization structure and leadership style followed while deciding or taking the decision regarding the merger or acquisition. Organization structure reflects the way through which the companies arrange or setup their departments in order to carry out the work neatly in timely manner. Management chose different organization structure to define the specific roles at different levels in the organization (Pitt, Handford & Koester, 2012). For example large organization use the tall organization structure that has many echelons of the management and other employees (Singla, 2010). On the other hand small organizations have flatter organization structure with very few management levels.
Leadership style also plays an important role while considering the acquisition of another organization that totally differs in the size and type of industry it falls. Leadership is something that cannot be judged until it has been taken as an experience. If employees in one leadership style shift to another form of leadership style, it will create the situation of total confusion as it takes time to employees to adjust in different environment with completely different manager. There are various forms of leadership style that will be discussed in detail below. Motivation to the employees is necessary to outperform the production in easy manner and on regular time.
