According to Depken (2006), Freedom towards internet can reap various benefits at an individual as well as at a national level. Over the last few years, many countries have achieved huge success primarily because there has been limited or no restriction from the government over the access to internet at any level. Various activities such as trading, learning, communications are now done easily through the internet. For this reason, regulatory authorities will certainly find it difficult to justify the reason they have banned some websites. People who have been opposing efforts of the government in regulating the Internet at various levels must be highly concerned regarding various efforts that have been made to tackle this issue. According to many experts on democracy, government control regarding access to the internet is not a fruitful idea irrespective of the motives or purpose of the government.
