Cross national learning has a very abstract meaning to it in today’s era of globalization. Be it education, business or politics, cross national learning can be utilized at it best in any and all the fields. If the product has not performed how it was expected to in the first country, there can be changes made and strategies planned before it is launched any further.

Today, in the era of globalization, the cross national learning has a very in-depth meaning to it. Every country counting itself in the race of business or economy should and must adopt the habit of keeping keen eyes on the competitors (Bartlett, 1999). This is nothing but encouraging a healthy competition and then learning from the mistakes which others make. The benefits from cross national learning don’t end here. In the highly competitive economies of today where every business is planned on an international platform, it has become very important to imply and imbibe everything the competitor has and then add an extra edge to excel out. For this, it is very important to learn the pros and cons of any step taken on an international level. This can be done only if cross national learning is applied right during the planning stage of the project.
