The air pollution is worst during the winter season. Northern China gets most affected by Air pollution. It happens because of the weather conditions and also because of the increase in the burning of coal in homes and also in municipal heating systems. Burning of coal in China starts on a specific date. According to the state media, in the northern city of Harbin, the heating systems start on Sunday and on Monday, it becomes difficult to see someone standing more than 50 yards away.
Air pollution is the least during the autumn season. It is the best season amongst all the other seasons in Beijing in terms of Air pollution and also in terms of weather. Air quality is the best and sky is clear during this season. It is called as the golden season of the city and in this season the number of tourists in the city also increases. This season comes in the months of September and October.
During the weekends the level of Air pollution increases and it is because of the more traffic during this time.
