The Constitutional Convention in history of United States is indicated as the convention that drew up encouragement of Constitution of the United States by the various economic problems. These problems are produced by the fundamental political movements such as the Shays’s Rebellion and advised by the demand for a powerful central government. This convention convened in the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787. It is apparent to make changes in the Articles of consideration with all the states apart from Rhodes Island that responds to the invitation as issued by the Annapolis Convention.

The constitutional convention needs to rewrite the laws of the United States which must be agreed upon under the Articles of the Confederation. The Articles of the Confederation are the first attempt of the people of the America for the purpose of constructing a new federal government after the breakdown of the Great Britain is seen. This failed because the government gave too little authority which is not effective enough to construct the bond between the two nations. Thus, the delegated of the constitutional convention is setting the draft with a new plan for the empowering the necessary infringements upon the rights of the states. For the purpose of establishment of empowerment, a lot of debates are undertaken between the representatives, and thus, the members are elected by the state population regarding the state size.
