Organizations today are operating in a dynamic and competitive environment. For this reasons it is generally said that the organizations cannot operate in a vacuum. After the internal and external analysis of the organizations, the companies are forced to take some necessary changes that are must for the future development of the organization. This report will guide in discussing various elements of the change that are developed in the organizations and what kinds of impacts these changes draw on the overall position of the organization.
Discussion about the organizational change
This section will guide in reviewing the relevant literature about the change in organizations and how stakeholders are impacted by this change. The discussion will be divided in four parts: organizational change, stakeholders involved in this change, impact of this organizational change and what are the impacts when the change fails. These elements will be discussed in detail in the following sections:
Organizational change: The external environment checks the political, social, economic and technological impacts of the external environment. The internal analysis of the environment is about the management policies, systems, culture, procedures and employees attitudes etc. The concept of the organizational change is about the change that is used to describe about the wide change that is conducted overall in the organization. Most common examples about the wide change conducted by the organization include the change initiatives of the changes in missions, restructuring of the operations, mergers, new technological implementations, implementation of TQM programs and re engineering etc (Kraatz & Zijac, 1996).
