When a separate explanatory variable is used, it may lead to the problems of wrongful estimation, as one is never sure of the extent of causality between the two variables. Sometimes when a proxy explanatory variable is used, it even leads to biased estimation. The coefficients thus estimated may not be BLUE (Best Linear Unbiased Estimators).

Thus, the ARCH estimation takes statistical analysis of the financial time series a step further. Furthermore, conditional forecasts done in the ARCH model are far superior to their unconditional counterparts. The vast application for an ARCH model comes from the fact that the residuals in the model can come from an autoregressive model, ARMA model or any other standard regression model.

This essay tries to apply the ARCH/GARCH model to the daily IBM stock returns taken from January 2, 1980 to September 13, 2013.

The only statement which went against Tom was that he said he felt sorry for Mayella and hence helped her. At Maycomb, black people were not allowed to be or to feel sorry for whites. In the last Atticus puts his closing statement and asks jury to believe and elude the state’s supposition that all the black people are bad and reward Tom with righteousness.

Response

In my opinion “To kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee is an excellent book with several messages. It is written very well and the stories involved in within the novel are interesting enough to keep the reader engaged(Phelps and Teresa, 1993). In my opinion the book is able to do a complete justice to the racial and social discrimination that was prevalent during those times in America. I could see that the novel was able to hold the comedy and cordiality in spite of taking care of thoughtful and sensitive matters like rape and racialism.

Promotion is a vital connection between the brand and the customers. An effective promotion will help to attract more customers to the brand. Through the way of promotional activities, the customers will get more details regarding the brand as well as the specific features of the designs. However, promotional activities consume a major part of the expenses. But an effective promotional strategy will lead to more success in the brand visibility. By promotion of the brand , brand image will be improved. I decide the promotional methods and strategies based on several factors like type of the customers to whom the brand is sole, the area of locations, customer needs and preferences and so on.
